Paramaribo, Suriname
In 2016, I was privileged to visit Paramaribo, Suriname, in South America. Our group had a singular goal; to share the good news about God’s Kingdom with everyone we met. This effort was made to help people in underdeveloped countries better their lives through a free Global Bible Educational initiative. With discretion, I took photos of local everyday sights while not distracting from our main purpose.
The Surinamese locals are kind and inviting people. Many invited us into their homes, providing generous hospitality as we shared comforting scriptures. While the primary language in these lands is Dutch, it was a surprise to know that many were English-speaking, so we focused on reaching those individuals in unassigned territories.
This collection of photos provides a glimpse of the everyday sites one might see while exploring Suriname.
